1)  What is your purpose?

I have strong callings to challenge inequities, abolish prejudgments, to best of my ability, &travel to Africa to help &heal all individuals I can.

2) What do you love, and how do (or will) your actions demonstrate this?

I care about people, life, health, and happiness, the clarity of mind, body and soul and I strive to spend everyday of my life assisting others in the act of clearing their lives of distractions, temptations, pathogens and parasites so they may live a healthy, focused, driven and purposeful existence. By teaching others how to be good stewards of their bodies' and of the environment, I will be demonstrating my passion for people living healthy lifestyles. And those individuals will in turn replenish, protect and embrace health through their lives. It is a never-ending cycle that will result in the helpful and healthful realizations of millions. The most joy is brought to me when I'm helping individuals. I honestly do not believe there is a better feeling than that which you feel when you know you have truly changed a person's life by sharing the knowledge, gifts and resources you possess. No other action is simpler, more impactful, or as fulfilling.

3) Write your ideal job description.

My ideal job would include: people, diversity, communication, traveling, learning, good health, inspiration, aid, happiness and spontaneity. The results of this experience would be tangible - visible, mental, emotional. My life, time and attention would be devoted to listening and assisting the people I come in contact with. Days would be filled with hope, struggles, and successes, obstacles, overcoming injustices and obtaining goals. And although it would be a difficult, complicated, stressful and heart-wrenching occupation, I feel that I am well qualified and equipped to take on the challenge - the challenge to change.

Personal and Professional goals

Posted on Dec 27th, 2008 by Chelsi

My achievement aspirations all lie within close proximity to my heart. Who I am and what I hope to become are wound within my beliefs', knowledge, and understanding of the circumstances our world faces. That is why all my goals - personal and professional - involve people.

Diversity has molded my being, mindset and heart. Growing up in a community of all different cultures, beliefs', backgrounds and standings has allowed me to foster belief's which embrace, expect and accept change. That is why my career choice involves the helping and healing of people - a physician. I have attempted to envision myself in other fields of work and found it to be near impossible to imagine; it is just not where my heart it. I have a love, a passion, a need to help individuals, and practicing medicine is the route I feel is right for me.

Personally I hope to see changes occurring in the world which surrounds me. I have witnessed tremendous heartache and sorrow in my life and wish it could all be eliminated and if I can aid in the pain erasure then I am willing to give the cause all that I have. I'd like to see many research advances, especially in the areas of Autism and Cancer which have claimed many of my loved one's as their victims. The way I see it, we can all help one another, but the question is if we will.

My Africa

It's still very rough, and I wrote down exactly how I felt. It's still hard for me to understand my craving for Africa or even begin to explain it. This is the closest I've gotten.

Africa: a continent divided. collection of countries in turmoil.
swarming with suspicion, speculation.
riden with fear and suffering.
Yet thriving in culture
and strong - Courageous

Africa: a homeland. haven. battle ground.
unknown, unsought, undisturbed.
wartorn plain, waving grasslands
trapt beneath baking suns and sorrowful showers.
Yet still standing
and strong - unstoppable

Africa: my mind, my heart, my soul
untold, unfounded, unfair, undersold.
struggling, seeking, desperate.
they chant, they call, they cry.
they sing, they speak, they're silent.
Yet never unheard
and always strong - immortal
